Ever needed to send a large file to someone, but it wouldn’t go through email properly? Maybe it sent ok, but then you got a bounce back that it was too large. Whatever happened, chances are you’ve come across a time when you’ve wanted to send a big file now, but just couldn’t do it.

Now there’s a way! Before resorting to burning a CD and sending it through the post, a website called YouSendIt www.yousendit.com lets you send files up to 100Mb in size (free of charge) to anyone with an email address. If you want to send files larger than that, YouSendIt has a paid service, too.

But most large files are usually somewhere between 5 and 100mb in size, so this could come in quite handy!
