Add MeeVee to your blog

Have you ever had the urge to tell everyone what you’re watching on television? Me neither. But just in case you have, the MeeVee TV-guide/program information site now allows you to generate and embed code in your blog that does exactly that.

OK, I am being a bit hard. MeeVee is actually a very well put together site that offers online TV guides for free-to-air and cable television, as well as an amazing directory of Internet channels. The idea is that the site helps you find things to watch so that you can create your very own online TV guide. And yes I can see, that in the spirit of social computing and sharing, other people might, in fact probably are, interested in what you’re watching.

As I mentioned the site allows you to create embed code that creats a little TV-like graphic (see above) that not only lists your favorite shows, but also says when they’re on TV.

Creating your own TV guide really easy — you simply pick your favorite TV shows from the TV guide or by category. Couldn’t be easier really.

I came to this site as a cynic, but I have to say that it is a really interesting site. It’s worth having a look just for the Internet TV directory.
