A new Bluetooth headset from Gear4, makers of popular iPod acecssories and speaker systems, connects to your iPod by wire and gives you a wired remote control. When a call comes through, the caller ID info is displayed on the iPod’s screen, with the voice coming through the headphones and a microphone likely on the remote control cable. We’ll be getting one to play with in a few days and we’re keen to try it out and give you a report on how useful and effective it is.
D-Link have released a new cordless VoIP phone that works over the Internet to deliver very inexpensive calls worldwide. We saw the final model due to go on shelves earlier this week and we’ll have a fuller report on this new VoIP phone soon too.
As for the Laser TV - we’ve been able to speak to different companies who manufacturer TVs and to a representation of the parent company of Arasor, giving us some interesting feedback the questions raised in the ‘doubts over laser TV’ article. More on this soon.
