Google adds the ability to search by license within images
If you own a website or blog, then chances are at some point you’ve needed to hit the interwebs to search for an image to use on it. If you’re using an image for commercial purposes, then you need to have the rights to use it from the original creator. Previously Google Image Search would pull all the images on the web up in a search, now its added a filter to help you see only pictures you can actually use.
Simple technology bridges communication gaps
It’s the holidays, that time of year when there are family pictures and movies to send to all of your far-flung friends and family. We’ve all experienced the frustration that ensues when trying to teach someone who does not enjoy or understand computers how to use them to send and receive cards, photos and movies by email. If you’ve set up a family web site, it can be an even steeper learning curve.

Forget HDTV, the future is 3DTV
eGames Expo Melbourne Australia: I’ve seen the future, and it’s in 3D. This technology has threatened to sweep the world many times over the past few years. While Nokia are releasing the fantastic looking 5 megapixel N95 super smart cameraphone in Q1 2007, Samsung have just released their first 10 megapixel cameraphone exclusively for the South Korean market. Is it a phone with a camera, or a camera with a phone?

Doubts about the Laser TV?
The Laser TV is coming, but some existing TV manufacturers seem to have some doubts. Naturally, this should come as no surprise, especially as the Laser TV seems set to knock competing technologies off their perch, and the all important Christmas season is nearing. So what are the doubters saying?

Coming later today… lotsa new stuff!
What’s the new world-first Lexus Hybrid all-wheel drive like? Well, just like driving a great luxury car with the smooth ride you’d expect. When you start the car, there’s no audible turning of the engine – it’s done with electric power! A fuller report with some photos this week. There’ll also be an update on Windows Vista, some new Epson products, a report on what it’s like to actually play with and use the Nintendo Wii (read it above!) along with photos with me and others in action on the latest motion-controlled games including driving, sports, fishing, Zelda and more.
