Australian gamers spend 16% less at retail in 2010Australian gamers spent significantly less on their hobby in 2010 than they did in 2009. At least at retail. The reported 16 percent drop in sales doesn’t include purchases made in online stores or via digital download. Activision may stop supporting Playstation consoles

activisionIt looks like Activision may stop making games for the Sony Playstation unless prices start to drop for the console. With the high price of consoles consumers are picking up versions of games for the cheaper Xbox and Wii instead of springing for the high-priced Playstation and games.  Read more...
